I thought that I’d be really into blogging. I guess not as much as I had thought. I totally lost half my brain when I got my haircut and forgot to post the picture of the freshly cut ‘do. Here it is!

I gave away my hair to help with the Gulf of Mexico recovery. They make it into booms and use it to soak up the oil. I’m sure it’s already been used by now.

I lost my job. Yep! Not cool, but it happened. Art has been cut from the schedule for next year, so here I am again. Not sure if I would like to try working at a traditional high school, or if I’m going to go for a charter again. I guess in these times, I may not even have an option. I have two more paychecks and then I need to really figure out what I’m going to do. I really hope I get to do something with art. It was my major after all.

So like in the title, I’m a lot behind. As in I have a lot of behind. a LOT. So I need to get much less behind. I haven’t been really at all focused at all, so I’m going to try out Sparkpeople.com. It’s a free weight loss website and I would say I have nothing to lose, but that would just be ironic. Hope it works out well. I need something to keep me motivated and on track.

I’m going to get my hair cut. It’s been a year and a half.

I bought one breakfast sandwich for a $1 and I got another one for free and it was like a $3 breakfast sandwich! Good deal…

Coupon #2 was good for buy one – get one free pretzel at Auntie Anne’s in Gilroy. Well… it was good for a whole lot more than that! We went and gave the coupon up and ended up getting a buy one- get three free deal! they gave us their almost okay pretzels. One was missing a few pepperonis and the other was a little crispy, but we’re not picky. So according to the receipt, we saved $2.80, but if you count the other pretzels we saved around $9! good deal…

I plan on documenting how much money I save with this Scout-O-Rama ticket book.

Our venturing crew had a tough time selling them and I don’t really see why… So, in light of their mostly failed efforts, I will track how I use the coupons and see how much I save through December 31st of this year. Almost all of the coupons are good for that long, except for two.

So today I used my first coupon from the book. It was a buy one Burrito Supreme, get one free from Taco Bell. I saved 2.19 according to the receipt.  So far I have saved -$7.81…

It was a good burrito. Free tastes good.

I am SO in love with my husband!!! We attended a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend from April 9th-11th. It was one of the most meaningful experiences for our marriage so far. We feel that spark from the day we got married and have a better sense of each others thoughts and feelings about our marriage.

I would recommend this experience to every married couple! It will make a good marriage GREAT!

So admittedly the bareMinerals stuff wasn’t 100% free, her’s my most recent stash of free-ness.

The bareMinerals tote bag was a gift with any foundation or mineral veil purchase.

You can’t get the bag anymore, but they do this promotion periodically, so if you’re gonna get your foundation again, why not get a tote and save a tree by using it till it explodes?

The pink case and makeup brush was a gift with purchase with any three eyeshadows. I also got 15% off for my birthday, so I made out pretty good on that shopping trip.

The Fekkai Glossing Shampoo/Conditioner sample isn’t available anymore, but I didn’t think it was all that great anyway. It was a sample from Walmart and Walmart always has free samples on their site. Right now they have a sample for baby formula, Crest 3D White and Benefiber.
